Dr. Michael Patterson and his wife Shawn are a dynamic-team, on a mission to provide practical-tools; impart knowledge; share experiences; provide healing; and, offer hope. They’ve been married for thirty-years; and they have two adult-children. Michael is currently an Adjunct Professor at the prestigious Morehouse College, and, has earned his Ed. D in Education and Organizational-Leadership. Shawn is a Behavioral-Health-

Dr. Patterson and Shawn’s life’s-work has been rooted in their love for God and people. They have been dedicated to elevating, educating and empowering people in both the church and the community; and, with that spirit, they have served as Pastor and Women’s-Ministry-Leader in dynamic, diverse and growing ministries –both, in New York and Georgia. They currently serve as one of the Pastors and women’s ministry leaders at the Path Church in Atlanta, GA; and, are both dedicated to supporting marriages and families, as lay-counselors.
The Patterson’s have carried their vision, heart, and passion, into entrepreneurship and are the founders of M&S Patterson Life Consulting; which, provides culturally relevant resources and solutions to meet today’s challenges. Dr. Patterson is the co-creator of “Peacemakers”, a series of workshops designed to promote racial-reconciliation by educating companies, churches, and schools, regarding the historical facts of the African-American-experience in America.
The Patterson’s are also workshop-presenters, and the founders of “Parenting-on-Purpose”, in-school or online-parenting-workshops (that are culturally-relevant, and, increase parent-engagement). And, finally, as leadership-developers, they are the founders of “Youth Catalysts”; which trains and provides group-facilitators.
One of their greatest joys in life is to energize and empower others through speaking and writing. They are motivational-Christian-speakers, who just love to call and equip others to surpass their goals and dreams. Dr. Patterson is the author of: “Running with Lions: Mentoring the Millennial Generation”, and, Shawn is the author of: “Women Who Dare to Dream”.
Michael and Shawn have been married for 30 years and have a daughter Alexis and son Joseph.
They reside in Atlanta, GA.

As a proponent of education, Michael is an Adjunct professor at the prestigious Morehouse College, and, has earned his Ed. D in Education and Organizational-Leadership from Abilene Christian University. For the last two years, he has been a consultant for the New York City Board of Education’s new initiative NYC Men Teach.

As an advocate of women and girls, Shawn is also a Behavior Specialist for teenage girls in disadvantaged neighborhoods. Determined to heal and inspire women’s souls, Shawn has appeared on television and radio to discuss her book Women Who Dare to Dream. Shawn has been featured in several media outlets such as Atlanta Alive WATC, WAOK/V103 for the Women’s World Wednesday spotlight, ikrave radio and Good Deeds Radio Show.
